Are there any shipping charges?
- Yes. We charge for shipping to keep our prices as low are we can for our customers. The shipping charges that are charged are at a reduced price and Preferred Welder Sales does not make a profit on shipping. What it costs is what it ships for.
- No. If you spend more than $500.00 shipping is FREE.
Can I ship my order to a different address other than my billing address?
Yes, just follow the correct steps during checkout to let us know where to ship your order. (Make sure to uncheck the box that says "Shipping Address same as Billing Address"
Where does Preferred Welder Sales ship to?
Preferred Welder Sales will ship anywhere in the U.S. except for Alaska and Hawaii.

Do you sell your products anywhere else besides online?
Yes. We have a showroom and also have a show trailer that we travel around selling our products at farm, trade and auto shows.
Can I place an order by telephone?
Yes you can. Please call us at (507) 345-5491 anytime Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm to speak with a salesman.
Will I be charged sales tax?
Deliveries made in the State of Minnesota will be charged the current Minnesota sales tax rate. If a shipment is outside of Minnesota, the customer is responsible for payment of the state’s use tax, if any.
What payment methods does Preferred Welder Sales accept?

Is my credit card information secure on the Preferred Welder Sales website?
Yes, we protect our customer’s information with a 256bit encrypted certificate.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. We sell them is in $25 increments.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Most orders will be delivered to your location within 3-7 business days via standard ground dependent on stocking and availability. Orders placed online will receive email shipping and tracking information.
What if my order is damaged?
External damage should be documented with the delivery driver and customer. If customer wasn’t there when package was delivered then customer needs to call us at (507) 345-5491 within 5 business days to arrange a solution.
What is your return policy?
All returns require notification via telephone or email. We will only receive items back that have not been opened and taken out of the original packaging. You can return your item for full credit up to 10 days from receiving your order minus the shipping. After 10 days customer can return any unopened, unused items back at the purchase price minus a 10% restocking fee and minus shipping costs. Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Once we receive the items back in stock we will examine the order. You will receive a refund when that process is complete.
What if my machine is defective?
If your machine is defective please call us right away at (507) 345-5491. We are an authorized dealer to make any repairs or warranty claims if needed.
If your machine is not working and still under warranty we will honor the warranty for you. If the equipment requires any repairs, we can do that in our shop to give you the fastest turnaround time possible. If we need to replace your machine with a new one, those steps can be taken to ship you a new unit.
What if my machine needs repair?
Preferred Welder Sales is an authorized dealer to make any repairs needed to get your machine up and running again. Your machine can be dropped off or shipped to us at 20177 State Hwy 66, Mankato, MN 56001.
